Leslie Dickerson resides in Stratford, Connecticut working as an Independent Living Advocate for the Disability Resource Center in Stratford. After making great strides in recovery from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, she was diagnosed with an untreatable and incurable brain disorder called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She has recently gained her healing through faith in Jesus Christ. Leslie found a gift within to see things in life and give a spiritual meaning to them while suffering with this disease. She enjoys encouraging people to reach their potential and strive for the greater things of God. She also enjoys being at the ocean
with her Lord, prayer, prophetic worship music, singing to her Lord, and fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ. She has two daughters, three grand-daughters and one grandson. Leslie’s grandson was born in July whose name is Josiah which means “the God who heals.” She was healed on her second grand-daughter’s birthday, and exactly 15 years to the day that she put her first daughter on an airplane to attend Christ for the Nations Institute. Her eyes were fixed on Christ Jesus and the finished work on the cross for her healing which has allowed her to rise above the illness and courage to face each day.
